Everyone Has A Voice
Starting out as a performer, I really understand the life of the singing actor. It’s been an invaluable experience in my Music Directing as well as my Vocal Teaching.
Being able to use our voice in the most efficient way is crucial to our world as singers. Whether navigating tricky registration, working on breath support, belt, tone, ease all can be mastered through conscious training and experimentation!
At it’s most basic level, singing is musculature coordination. “In the act of phonation, the primary task of the singer is to achieve the most efficient balance between the air stream and the tension in the muscle s of the vibrator. (larynx)” - Barba Doscher. There are many ways we can condition our muscle memory into working properly; demonstrations, vocabulary, science, and toys are just some of the ways that I will unlock sounds from your voice you’ve never felt or heard before!
Different methodologies work for different people. Vocal Technique wise, I have studied the likes of Estil, Doscher, Edwards and Titze. Everyone regardless of skill level has a voice and I would love to help shape your passion in anyway you seem fit. Book a lesson today to create, learn and be empowered by your voice. You’ll be surprised how easy and effortless great production can be.
